It's an annual birthday bash I look forward to every year by one of my favorite bands in Los Angeles - The Shakers, led by front woman and birthday girl Jodie Schell.  And each year it gets bigger and bigger and like all of their shows, you never know what to expect; this night for instance we heard brand new song "Over and Under" and news of an upcoming album dropping later this year and we even saw a surprise on-stage proposal from bassist Kyle Kozlowki to his girlfriend.   And of course,  there's their powerful, raw songs that echos the good vibes of the days of classic rock.   Next month they play Arizona's Last Exit Live on April 19th and the Spirit Room the next day in Jerome.  SoCal peeps can catch them next when they perform at The Sugar Mill Saloon in Tarzana on April 13th.
