With her highly-anticipated debut album set for release on Sept. 16th, Canadian-DJ Lowell teases us with what's to come with her new video "The Bells."
Labelled as an artist to watch as this year's SXSW, Lowell's synth-infused dance beats are laced with contagious pop melodies that cover feminist issues ranging from sexual abuse, rape, abortion and women's rights.
We Love Her Dearly will be released via Arts & Crafts on September 16th. In her new video for "The Bells" Lowell shows us her twisted vision of high school, complete with students with skull-faced face paint, roller derby girls and cheerleaders all the while holding a baseball bat.
